I have no idea why JBE would be there and think it's strange and unnecessary, but I am legitimately curious why people have such a problem with his use of tax payer money for security detail for events like this and the SEC Championship, but the same people have no issue with the president spending tax payer dollars to go to the LSU Alabama game or on his golf outings.

I'm proud he, or any other governor of ours would be there. It if were any other governor especially a Republican all you twits on here would be lauding it.
I think it looked good to any recruit who saw it that the governor and others were there supporting Joe and LSU.

I don’t see the correlation here but the sentiment of JBE being there is valid. Stand up and shake his hand. Sitting down like a goober not understanding the moment is just a bad look.

Trump has the national economy roaring, produced a job market that has more openings than unemployed people, has illegal immigration being brought way down and gave us tax cuts that keeps more money in our wallets, kept us out of starting any more stupid wars and is making freeloaders like NATO and China pay up.
The Louisiana economy under JBE is absolute dog shite, he chases jobs out of state with his high taxes and lawsuits, he has us 49th-50th in all the wrong metrics and he stole and charges billions more of our dollars for the same shite government we had under Jindal.
Trump is delivering, JBE is not.

Be a politician that has a good record of success that people are clearly benefiting from, people can tolerate something like this.
Be a career politician that went from winning by 13 points in 2015 to just squeaking by two points in 2019 thanks to an incompetent GOP candidate while achieving absolutely nothing positive at all and has given us only a failed status quo, look like a scumbag glomming onto this kid's success.

-We have the largest economy in the history of the state, to date, and it is growing at the 10th fastest rate in the country. We have the highest personal income in the history of our state & ahead of average national growth rate.
- Most money invested in higher education than any state in 4 years
I agree on job growth and he should do better solidifying more corporate investment in the state along with better policy on job growth. Plenty to dislike but he won in one of the reddest states in the south. You act like he’s Gavin Newson? H
