Amazon fulfillment centers coming to Baton Rouge and Shreveport. Mayor Ellis stating he's in discussions for a distribution center in Monroe, La. Already the Dem governor making more announcements than fmr Gov Jindal. Seems all he brought to North LA was now defunct chicken houses.

I would bet on i-10/i-20 geographical market selection rather than sloths ability to land anything that benefits our economy

Except they are building a new site instead of using the hundreds of thousands of sq.ft. of empty office and industrial space from the GM and Lucent Technologies plants.

Cheaper to build new from ground up than retrofit. Old GM Guide plant was recently leveled near Monroe.

Jindal convinced Gardner-Denver to relocate to Monroe from Sheboygan, WI. I guarantee you those manufacturing jobs pay more than working for Amazon.
