Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is ending his run for president, he said on The Rachel Maddow Show on Wednesday night.

Inslee leaves the primary after elevating climate change issues in the primary despite never cutting through in polling himself.

Cnn reporting

This is highly symbolic of how little Americans care about climate change

This was his key pet issue and he already drops out due to 0% polling

Dems badly need a Chief Exec to step up. Yet their governors are the first to get dropped.

Well considering Kampala, Bernie and Warren support the Green New Deal and Biden plagiarized his own plan I’d say climate change is not dead at all.

Another one bites the dust
Another ones gone, another ones gone
Another one bites the dust.

Hopefully Robert Francis will be next.

Seems like a good place to admit failure and/or being a loser. Or that you are gonna try to look more like a man.

Guess “climate change is destroying the world so you have to surrender your economic and civil liberties and give the government even more power” isn’t a good campaign pitch after all.

I know Washington (well Seattle) is very blue and all that but the fact that this nut can hold office anywhere is appalling.

We have an infection of idiots that are an anvil tied around the country's neck.

Let's see if Tom Steyer gets the memo on extremist climate change initiatives.

Exactly. This is the one thing that separated him from the other 24 democratic candidates.

Only 24 of the 24 believe in man made climate change and are campaigning to throw government resources into combating it.

Hard to understand how this issue didn't separate Inslee from the pack?

There is going to continue to be a push for alternative energy sources because there is money to be made.

Why are you against capitalism commie?

Pete is by far the most intelligent and qualified candidate.

Probably won't even make VP though because he's gay.

I don't think it is a political liability anymore.

A bisexual was elected senator of arizona.

The states where a gay man on ticket would hurt are states where the dem is losing, anyway.
