We can count on the South Koreans. They’re no fan of China either and know the ramifications if China were to take over the world. Vietnam I’m a bit less sure about since China kind of has them by the balls.

India would also likely side with us.

Yeah, India is refusing to be in the Belt and Road Initiative. The problem is once it is complete, India is completely surrounded by it and are totally fricked.

We need to let Japan build their military up again. They could be a strategic counter weight to China

WW2 was long ago and they’re now a close ally

If it comes to war, there's so much vitriol between the CCP and Japan that it would just rage on until there were no Japanese left, and no Japanese islands left.

Nah, it’s not the CCP this time around but the Chinese people at large. They hate Japan every bit as much as the Palestinians hate the Israelis. Whenever their government is fricking up and even the CCP is being called out, the go to defense is blame it on the Japanese and shite all over them.

Most the people over there don’t buy the propaganda about us with the exception of gun violence (which to be fair to the Chinese our movies do nothing to dissuade them from thinking we’re always shooting each other in the streets), but yeah they’ll fall for the Japanese being at fault every single time.

I have a letter my grandpa wrote to his mom talking about getting shot with a machine gun 5 times, "but its sounds worse that it is" i've posted before but this probably isnt the thread for that

Taiwan needs to go to a Swiss (Militia) Army model. With a population of nearly 24 million they could easily field an army of several million like the Swiss in a very short period of time. With dispersed advanced vertical take-off fighters and a wall of hardened anti-ship and anti-air, China's saber rattling wouldn't be serious.

The Taiwanese didn't welcome the Kuomintang when they arrived in 1950 and neither would welcome the CCP today.

You need to spend more time learning and less time opining. Japan going to war with China is like Panama going to war with the USA - a silly suggestion. China is probably 1,000 times stronger than Japan.

I wouldn’t go that far. There’s a reason they’ve never been conquered. It’d be suicide to invade the Japanese mainland. If China ever does it, it will be in mutually assured destruction where they know all their people are going to die, but they’ll send the first rockets over to Japan given how much they hate them and that they’re relatively close.

in the event (still far fetched IMO) between China/Japan, then NK would head south into SK because the rest of the world you be looking at China, and i thin china would incourage NK to do so.

One of the best ways to control China would be to remove the shackles we placed on Japan after WW2.

We should remove those restrictions and allow Japan to rebuild its military.

But our President* is in Chinas pocket, so that will never happen.

Honestly, the CCP isn’t going to rely on those frickheads for anything. The Kim Administration very much annoys the CCP and it would not remotely surprise me if the CCP orchestrated a coup to kill that fat idiot currently on the throne. His sister would be a far more efficient and intelligent leader than he is.

India wont get between Japan and China. They might take the opportunity to send another battalion with clubs into the contested mountain range, but thats probably about it.

It's not up to us.

The military occupation of Japan ended about 70 years ago...

Well, the jokes on them. Japan has nuclear bombs, too, or they would not have separated Taiwan on that map.

They are giving the CCP overt and probably covert warning that they have nukes, too.

Growing up, I was fearful of Japan rebuilding and getting nukes, now, with our loser leftist government, I think they need them in order to be a real counter to the communist Chinese threat.

Good for Japan and Taiwan! Frick you Biden and your CCP puppet master.
