BTW, my brother and I were smart enough to have individual detailed accounts of our February 5, 1985 sighting notarized a few days after that sighting so we couldn't be accused of just making up the sighting now or in the future be accused of forgetting the description of what the animal looked like.
I'm not sure that helps the credibility angle

Also, how can the witnesses' claim be correct that Gianforte first grabbed Jacob by the neck with both hands when Jacob admits that the scuffle started when Gianforte first grabbed the recorder that Jacob stuck in Gianforte's face?
quote:
Because he could have released the recorder, then used 2 hands to grab Jacobs around the neck.
It's beyond hilarious how incredulous you are on things like this, considering.
So you are admitting that the two Fox reporters' accounts of what started the scuffle is incorrect and that the scuffle began when Jacobs stuck his recorder in Gianforte's face and Gianforte grabbed the recorder to get the recorder out of his face.
And all that happened after Jacobs was asked by Gianforte to leave the room and that Gianforte would answer Jacobs' question later.

You get a recorder stuck in your face, you either slap ti out of the way or grab it. The other guy grabs your hand and in struggle they both fall to the ground.
So if the recorder was shoved in his face why was he calm and engage in civil conversation until the second question.
You said it yourself, if it was initially shoved in his face, why did he not act until the second question?

It may not help the credibility angle in your mind but it means no one can accuse us of just making up the sighting now or forgetting what the animal looked like that we saw on February 5, 1985.
BTW, my brother and I are both willing to take a polygraph and answer any questions about what the animal looked like that we saw on February 5, 1985.
We've challenged anybody who doesn't believe us to get the expert of their choice to give us the the polygraph and if either one of us fails the test we will pay for the test but if both of us pass the test then the skeptic has to pay for the test.
So far, no skeptic has the balls to accept our challenge.

No offense, but I'm guessing it's because a) polygraphs are unreliable and b) they don't care enough

What was the first question Jacobs asked Gianforte which Gianforte answered?

Now how could Gianforte grab Jacob by the neck with BOTH HANDS when Jacob admits Gianforte grabbed his recorder with his hand and that's when the scuffle began?
quote:
Are you serious with that question?
Here's the answer.
quote:
Gianforte first grabbed the recorder which Jacob had put in Gianforte's face and that's what started the whole scuffle.
Then secondly, he used his hands to grab him by the neck
So you are admitting that the two Fox reporters' accounts of what started the scuffle is incorrect and that the scuffle began when Jacobs stuck his recorder in Gianforte's face and Gianforte grabbed the recorder to get the recorder out of his face.

My apologies,
Not question, but comment.
Why was he civil when asked about the CBO score and responded with
"We will talk about that later"
Then he says (calmly)
"Speak with Shane please"
After this comment he then assaults Jacobs shouting
"I'm sick and tired of you guys"
Why would he have been so calm to someone who was shoving a recorder in his face from the beginning? He clearly already had it out for Jacobs.

He could let go of the recorder.

That's incorrect.
If I remember it correctly, after Gianforte said "speak with Shane please" Jacobs refused to leave and said something about there not being time to do that then stuck the recorder in Gianforte's face again.
That's when Gianforte grabbed the recorder and the scuffle began.

Because Gianforte tried to handle the situation by very civilly asking Jacobs to leave and telling Jacobs that he would answer his question later. When Jacobs didn't leave and instead continued to stick his recorder in Gianforte's face, Gianforte again very civilly told Jacobs to talk to one of Gianforte's people but Jacobs again refused to leave the room and again stuck his recorder in Gianforte's face so Gianforte grabbed the recorder to push it away from his face and that's when the scuffle began.

A partial transcript:
quote:link to guardian transcript
Ben Jacobs, a reporter for The Guardian: ...the CBO score. Because, you know, you were waiting to make your decision about health care until you saw the bill and it just came out...
Greg Gianforte, the congressional candidate: Yeah, we’ll talk to you about that later.
Jacobs: Yeah, but there’s not going to be time. I’m just curious—
Gianforte: Okay, speak with Shane, please.
[loud scuffling noises, an even louder crash, repeated thumping]
Gianforte: [shouting] I’m sick and tired of you guys!

There is nothing "pussy" about thinking some douchebag politician should be held accountable for assaulting a journalist.
Yeah, journalists as a group suck and are annoying. You know who else sucks as a group? Political candidates.

One of the problems with society today is the pussification of men.
60 years ago, if someone shoved a mic in another man's face after that man told him to leave him alone, and the man with the mic got his assed kicked, everyone would have said, "he had it coming." Mr. Mic would have been laughed off and told to get a life.
Today-if you kick someone's arse for ramming a mic in your face, you are castigated, prosecuted, and Mr. Mic gets on all of the morning talk shows to talk about how he is a victim.
So yes-frick gaping, weeping vaginas like Mr. Mic and everyone who thinks he didn't need his arse kicked. They are what is wrong with a large portion of society.

As long as he keeps a Democrat out of office, I don't give a frick what he has done.
He could be a puppy and kitten molester and he would still be 1000x more moral and upright than anyone who attaches a D after their name.
