So you are admitting that the scuffle didn't start when Gianforte grabbed Jacobs' neck with both hands like the two Fox reporters claimed.
BTW, Rush is now reporting that the female Fox reporter is changing her story and is now saying she is not certain whether Gianforte grabbed Jacobs' neck at all let alone with both hands.

The OP implied that Gianforte was not the initiator based on the known evidence. The fact that Gianforte has been arrested for assaut is an indicator of what the authorities jugde the known evidence to show.

Because he could have released the recorder, then used 2 hands to grab Jacobs around the neck.

And your source for this??
That account sounds more reasonable to me than that a man started choking another man with both hands. You get a recorder stuck in your face, you either slap ti out of the way or grab it. The other guy grabs your hand and in struggle they both fall to the ground.
Did the reporter have any signs on this throat that would indicate a choking took place??

First of all, you misquoted me.
Secondly, You falsely believe this type of animal is mythical. My brother and I no longer believe this type of animal is mythical since on February 5, 1985 we had a definitive sighting of one that beached itself directly in front of us only 20 yards away.
BTW, my brother and I were smart enough to have individual detailed accounts of our February 5, 1985 sighting notarized a few days after that sighting so we couldn't be accused of just making up the sighting now or in the future be accused of forgetting the description of what the animal looked like.
