Did you even watch the hearing? How did Schmitt say up anything? He doesn't know the Hawks from Hawkeye.

I have had X blow up in my face and occasionally got my dick stuck in a Chinese finger trap, but got dam son out in the real world that is call your malpractice carrier kinda incompetence. A lot of times things like this blow over within an hour or never even make a splash but the fact that sportsball was involved got the sports geeks involved and the video of Smith actually at the game splattered all over X almost immediately.

Figuratively jumping up on the table and doing an Elmo happy dance while saying, "I don’t think you know that we have this stuff, so I’ll give you a second to process it so you don’t perjure yourself.” also turned into a bad look.

Then, after the revelation, Smith was in the XFINITY Center in College Park when Schmitt was suggesting Smith was in ATL at the State Farm Arena; he went so far as to mischaracterize evidence by saying "I presented him with text messages about him wanting to meet with people that could have obviously been related to the prosecution that was coordinated with his office in Atlanta". The text messages he showed and tried to make disappear faster than a low budget David Copperfield supported nothing of the sort.

He was so far over his skis his nose was apres ski while his heels were still just getting off the lift.

I saw a shorter video than this where Schiff was more explicit about he being the one to alert Klobuchar...but this is the same drift. Schiff was the Dem Senator seated closest to Smith. Smith signaled to Schiff....

It's at the very beginning of this clip. Couldn't watch the whole thing. Schiff is as sanctimonious as Schmitt is stupid. You're welcome:)
