Look, I support the war against Iran. I love it actually. What I don’t love is the way Trump is fighting it. He’s being a little bitch about it if I’m being honest.
And there’s just no realistic way all the countries of the world are gonna pay 20% fricking percent to the US to transit the strait of Hormuz. Especially when we haven’t show the will so far to do what is necessary to keep the strait safe for transit.

So what? We have entire billion dollar ships whose job it is to ensure freedom of navigation and we aren’t using them. We have divisions full of Marines whose job it is to take islands from the enemy and we’re not using them.
The United States Navy isn’t going to start boarding every vessel to make sure a fee is paid. It’s just not gonna happen.
