They both said they were finished with politics. They have a young family and want to lead a private life away from DC. Why is that a big deal to some people?

She did a Lex Friedman interview and explained that it's not good for her kids. Politics hadn't been a life goal and she'd rather be of service in a different way.
Never saw a President and their family so hated by the media.

This is a good thing for both sides. Ivanka is great but she doesn't need to be involved in the campaign

I agree. One of my biggest Trump support wants going into this go around, was that these 2 were not involved like in the 1st term. She doesn't like nor get the MAGA movement like her brothers.
She's more suited for the NYC crowd than the FL crowd.

I don't blame them, but Jared was effective in dealing with Israel peace and Ivanka was excellent eye candy. They will be missed...especailly Ivanka.

That just happens so darn much. People being a bad influence on Trump. Otherwise he would be what many think and want him to be. But those around him just always badly influence him.
