It's way too late, but everybody needs to stop buying ANYTHING from China.

Find a way to buy used, made in India, Taiwan, whatever. Make it a priority. You can do it.

No, it's not. You have to try, then you will find how easy it is. Don't throw your hands up and call it useless. That's how you lose even worse.

China is now so far advanced that they out-source production of the products vended by their companies because there is cheaper labor outside of China. Vietnam is a favorite source of labor for the products of China.
And, should China discern a reason to do so, they could simply label a product made in China as "Made in . . ." somewhere else besides China. Who is going to stop them if they do? The Law? Don't make me laugh!
