Y'all laugh. I know a lot of blue dog democrats who swore firearms are the devil that have purchased goddamn shotguns in the last couple of months. Do they know how to use them? No. Have they felt the recoil of a 12 gauge on a loosely shouldered, umm, shoulder? No. But it's in their closet with the little yellow safety in the magazine you get from the store.

Do they expect people to break into their house to attack them ? A shot gun is not going to help much . You have people running around with ARs and thousands of rounds or precision rifles.

I was at the outside ATM machines at a local bank yesterday. A very large guy cursed as he left one machine and went to the next. All of a sudden he mashed into the machine with both hands and strung about ten curse words together. He said I may go to jail today, but I am tired of this virus crap (not his exact words). The bank has my money and I am going to get my money one way or another. I would have hated to be the bank employee that had to deal with him.

U serious, Clark? Rittenhouse would have done far more damage with a crowd pleaser, aka sawed off shotgun, than with an AR. Granted, he would have gone directly to jail, but for home defense you would be hard pressed to find a better weapon.

At some point, between his first shots and his last, he would have had to reload, and that's when he would have been fricked.

I've got one of the old duck bill type suppressors on my AR, ground down to chisel edges. If I poke somebody in the eye with it, or in the neck, in the right place, they aint gonna like it. It'll slash like hell too.

You've obviously never seen what buckshot or a slug can do.

Don’t opine on things you know nothing about.

Most riot/home defense shotguns carry at least 5-7 shells.

Filled with buckshot, it’s very deadly.

The dude that took one to the head, his head would have split like a melon. The one that took one to the chest wouldn’t have walked 3 feet before dying. The dude that took one in the bicep, his nickname would be Lefty now, because his arm would be gone.

There's a reason the Germans wanted those F-ers outlawed in WW1. Machine guns, fine. Mustard gas, fine. A 12 gauge, whoa too much damage.

My shotgun holds 6 rounds with the plug out. I can easily add extension tubes to take me to 11 or 12. Add the fact that reloading a shotgun is much easier than the alternative and that arguement falls apart.

Dont use buckshot inside..can go through multiple walls with unintentional damage to loved ones..use number 4 shot at close range.
Wouldn't believe what that can do.
