COVID-19 has become the eighth most common cause of death among children in the United States, according to a study” published in JAMA Network Open. This “analysis of data from the” CDC “found that there were 821 COVID-19 deaths” among “children and young adults ages 0 to 19” during “a 12-month period from August 2021 to July 2022.” This “death rate – about 1 for every 100,000 children ages 0 to 19 – ranks eighth compared with...2019 data,” and “ranks fifth among adolescents ages 15 to 19.

Again... They did not die "of" Covid... They died "with" Covid...
The "experts" WILL NEVER admit that distinction... All of these kids were compromised in some other way.. It's just not random healthy third graders. This is fear mongering at its finest.

It's an excellent op-ed and makes me suspicious that Newsweek published it.

They are just getting out in front of the slow rolled truth to come.

"Look at us, we are fair and impartial!" - after 36 months of lies, deceit and coverup.

Look how the MSM dealt with their coverage of Trump/Russia collusion, knowing it was BS from the get go.....they didn't do a retraction, no apologies.....they just moved on to the next "destroy Trump" fake news narrative.

What’s curious is that this was written (supposedly) by a medical student. Not a practicing physician. Not a professional researcher. Not a hospital staff member. Not anyone in academia. Not Fauci , Birx, et Al. Not anyone from the Biden administration. Not anyone from the CDC, NIH, WHO, etc.

But now this is out there as a trial balloon in my opinion, just to see what the reactions will be. The real culprits are sitting back waiting.

The med student who wrote this is on the right track. However, I think you can make a strong argument that medicine is not really science, and the so-called "medicine" that society has been subjected to over the past couple of years definitely does not qualify.

Even while admitting malfeasance they try to frame it as an oopsie and fall on their beloved Sword of Incompetence.

That’s not what he was saying.
