When Karen learns she is not safe from what's happening, that's a good thing.

Get her some lessons is the first thing. You don’t want to end up missing a hand.

Tell her "no" because guns are dangerous and guns were used to maintain Slavery.

You must be fibbing.

I'm reading the polls and the female vote is going to vote for Biden.

Sounds right. Any anti-gun advocate who claims a person should just “call the police” can come meet my clients in rural Caldwell parish. It takes 30 mins for the cops to get to these people’s houses.

They all open and concealed carry because it’s there only chance to be safe.

Start with a new wife. Then get a nice 12 gauge and compact 9mm.

Women value security over everything. They'll vote for the restoration of law and order over racial and economic issues.

It is critical you make Karen understand that she needs to vote republican. Otherwise the rioters will get her. I have a SIL Karen who is normally a lib but rethinking things now.

Karens are emotional. We need to channel that emotion to support conservative causes rather than their normal Facebook liberal virtue signaling.

A shotgun is usually the go to for someone new, less chance of shooting yourself in the head.

Yep wife was never anti gun that would have been a problem. She did walk the line of people probably did not need high capacity magazines and rifles were ok for hunting etc. After watching the cops cornered and attacked in the lobby of CNN and realizing if you called them right now nobody was coming. She started asking how many rifles/guns do we have and how many 30+ round magazines. Once everything settles back down she will be getting her own AR and learning to shoot it. She thinks we should start teaching the kids about guns put it on the same level as basic household maintenance like changing the oil in the car etc.

+1

Also lessens the percentage of a stray bullet hitting your neighbor.

With that said, my .40 Springfield XDS is my go to.

Glock 48 with 6 Shield Arms magazines. I would have said Glock 19, but the G48 has a much smaller grip and the same capacity as the G19 with the Shield Arms 15-rounders, so your wife can grip it better.

You should compliment that with an AR-15 "pistol' with a brace. It's basically a short barrelled rifle that you don't have to register. About an 11.5" barrel would be perfect. Top it off with a decent red dot, flashlight, and sling.

You'll need a bare bones minimum of 6 magazines and 300 rounds of premium defensive 9mm ammo for the Glock. You'll need a bare minimum of ten 30-round magazines and 1,000 rounds of ammo for the AR. If it were me I'd go with 500 ballistic tips and 500 armor piercing M855/SS109. Keep in mind that these are just the MINIMUMS to get you started and are in no way the final goal.

Sorry you're just now waking up to the realities of the world. You're going to have to pay a premium for everything gun related right now.
