Joe Biden has started setting up a commission that would look at Supreme Court and federal judiciary reforms, which could lead the way toward 'court-packing'

Multiple people familiar with the matter told Politico that the bipartisan commission would fall under the White House Counsel's office and would look at recommending changes to the federal judiciary overall, not just the Supreme Court.

In 2019, she said in an interview with Eric Lesh, the executive director of the LGBT Bar Association and Foundation of Greater New York: “I often point out to people who aren't lawyers that the Supreme Court is not defined as ‘nine person body’ in the Constitution, and it has changed size many times.”

and not once since 1869

I remember when the co-equal judicial branch was their BFF when it came to desegregation, abortion, voting rights act and gay marriage.

Now that it may not go their way, they just change the rules.

Are these not the most evil amongst us?

That was always the plan.

Use our rules and our freedoms against us. Then when you have power take it all.

REMINDER: Trump voters in Georgia allowed this to happen by staying home.

If Mitch is still Majority Leader, court packing, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, Green New Deal and so on is dead on arrival and will never see the Senate floor.

Elections have consequences.

Now? We're going to have to sweat bullets and hope Joe Manchin can hold the line and democrats don't have the balls to kill the filibuster.

And hold it long enough until 2022.

Joe's not doing 1 damn thing. His puppet masters are carrying through with their agenda. He's just doing as he's told.

Probably but it would have been interesting to see how the current 9 did with 1st and 2nd Amendment issues. Buy ammo and buy any gun you can that can hold more than two rounds. The Constitution is gone.

bullshite

There were not enough of them supposedly on November 3rd so where would they sprout from 2 months later.

The fault lies with the white idiots who voted for a racist who likely wishes they were dead.

This is what should mobilize and unify the right and libertarians/independents. Hell, thrown in however few remaining classic liberals too. If there is to remain even the facade of a republic the mere thought of court packing has to be shot down immediately. Frick any commission and it’s findings. Those are predetermined outcomes.

Any "commission" will be a complete f*cking joke. The "report" is already written.

There were enough Republicans on November 3rd. Problem is that just enough of them were college educated whites that voted for Biden.

And then those same people voted for Loeffler and Perdue to stop Biden from getting any legislative wins that would hurt them.

Problem is that Trump voters talked themselves into staying home and letting the democrats win the senate seats and those college educated whites were up shite creek then.

Liberal super pacs were going around all over North Georgia putting up these billboards to suppress turnout.
