The Democrats are doing the same to their party. The far left are trying to take over the moderate lefts. It will implode just like the republican party has. Maybe we will have three parties when it's all over. A far left, a far right and a slightly right of center party.

I wonder if OP and TittyGumbo guy are paid GOP shills. These types of posts have gotten more frequent lately, like the GOP is scared. It's too late, I left officially weeks ago. No turning back.

help reform it by electing NEW and DIFFERENT republican candidates. If millions of republicans sit out or leave the party out of anger, the democrats win. Why some thick-skulled people here can't understand that is beyond me.

Thats what I’ve been trying to do my entire adult life. See prior post about definition of stupidity.

You should leave the GOP to rot. The Establishment is here to stay like a growing drug-resistant tumor.

I agree we're not voting our way out of this unfortunately because they've mastered the fraud required to win. Oh they will let a few republicans win a seat here and there to make it look more legit, but there will never be a Republican majority again probably. Sad. but probably true. There certainly will never be an OUTSIDER again from outside the swamp.

Americans need to wake up . Voters on both sides need realize that the politicians don’t care about them . Changing your voter registration and not voting or voting against rhino republicans is doing something. Patriots/Trump supporters are not brainwashed like blacks . Black vote for democrats all the time then riot because they don’t feel like they are treated fairly. If they stopped voting democrats would actually do something to help them .

Agree 100%, but the Dems are in lockstep, which means we can stand together or fall apart.

The biggest problem with the GOP is they can’t get in lockstep. Always have a few McCains or Romney’s coming to screw shite up. I’m still scratching my head how they messed up and lost two senate seats info GA. They never should have been in a position for two runoff’s.

Changing your registration affiliation to independent/unaffiliated sends a message to the party in the same way ratings have tanked for FOX news and they are scrambling now to recover. Leaving the party doesn't mean you can't still vote for a Republican, but it does send a message.

McCain and Romney are/were essentially Democrats with a R next to their name.

The state of Georgia is changing politically due to the growth of the Atlanta metro. I think that was fairly obvious when Stacey Abrams almost won the governor's office a few years ago.

No the only currency we have is our vote. By not assuring election legitimatcy the GOP has devalued that currency. Until they run on that one issue I will not give them my vote. Single issue votor with no party affiliation. Fix the election process and 70 million votes can be yours to turn into power and money. Continue to collaborate to stay in power and you will do so as a beggar because you betrayed 70 million conservative voters. You will be treated like the snivelling dogs you are by your Democrat Masters. We can not save you with our votes. You allowed them to become worthless. You have to save yourselves. Meanwhile I will be working to help my family survive in the socialist hell you have allowed to be conjured up by these evil people.

Leaving declared membership to the party sends a message

This is the answer. Our entire political class, on both sides, do not behave as public servants but rather see their office as a means to build generational wealth and rule their constituencies in a vindictive and brutish manner. frick that.

I have contributed for years, but no more.
I have been a registered repub. for years but no more.

If Collins had not run against Loeffler she would have not had a runoff

Seems like the question of the moment is how do you punish/weaken the Republican Party without simultaneously strengthing/rewarding the Democrat Party which is the ultimate threat you are fighting against? (Yeah, yeah, yeah "both parties are the same, there is no difference between the two parties." All political parties are the same some are just more samer than others.)

It is still a party that believes in the concept of the individual even if it doesn't believe in the power of the individual. So the individuals that make it up often do their own individual things. On the other hand Democrats are the party of the collective where everyone holds the same beliefs, thinks the same thoughts, and takes the same actions. No straying from the pack allowed so they move in lock step with each other. Moving uniformally in the wrong direction but moving uniformally nonetheless.

It was taken over around the time of GHB.

It is now the party of Ben Sasse and Mitt Romney.

No thanks.
