re: It takes Trey Gowdy just three minutes to silence the media

From that diary, on the evening of the 10th after returning from the meeting I referenced in my information thread:
"There was a little sourness about why it had taken so long ( 108 days) to get to Benghazi, and about ambassadors (referring to him) who come to talk but didn't do anything to follow up."
I'm willing to bet he didn't expect that.

So you're telling me he already knew the answers to the questions he has been asking?
That's usually what prosecutors (former) do. I do have to say this is the first time I've seen a politician ask the media questions.

Actually, I think he reached a new low there. A gutter low, to be honest, when he starts by insinuating that the Obama Administration is not interested in bringing the murderers to justice.
Considering the administration would rather this go away than bring the murderers to justice.. It's a fair point to make.

If you would only say that to Gowdy:s face, he would show you what a real man does to cross dressing bytches.

Gowdy's ten different styles of haircut tells me he and Michael Sam shared a locker at Missouri and Sakerlina games.

A clue for the pied piper popper scopper boy.
If this administration arrested someone, then those " terrorist would tell how they got their weapons from Obama and Hillary, and then all hell would break lose when the facts come out about this administration consorting with terrorist.
That's why the FBI waited 3 weeks to go to the burned up consulate.

Here's what bugs me: For years and years, Conservatives lashed out at the media for anything resembling criticism of their disastrous Iraq War. Treason, traitors, enemies, etc. were quickly tossed out when people started asking for WMDs and why we hadn't prepared for the inevitable Sunni-Shia sectarian violence. Assurances from authorities were accepted blindly and used to further castigate those criticizing the war.
Not once did I hear, from the right, a serious call for impeachment over a catastrophic war that left thousands of Americans dead while accomplishing more bad than good. From planning to execution, it was utterly disastrous. Who went to jail? Who got impeached? Crickets...
But now, in this instance of four Americans dying over a bungled deep-level operation, conservatives have found their love for prying media. Lol.
I do believe the Administration's handling of the event was very, very disingenuous. And I too want the media to get to the bottom of this (as they should with all government lies). But impeachable? These same people deify Reagan, who cut and ran from Lebanon while Marine heads were still bounding down the streets like tumbleweeds. (Not to mention that lil Iran Contra scheme...)
Meh.

None of that has anything to do with today. And I didnt realize there was internet during Reagan's tenure.

Sorry - but I don't recall any such thing happening. Do you have any kind of link to such "lashed out at the media for anything resembling criticism" or any of your other allegations?

wut?? We'd have had to impeach the entire DEM caucus in the congress along with Bush. Everyone had access to the same intel and were clamoring for action. You seem to have very selective outrage.

Going up against an administration with lock steppers whose voices crack in dog costumes, it's a nice change of pace.

Wait until he gets done with the Democrat scum behind this cover-up.
We'll see how many will throw themselves on the sword to protect the Obama Idiot.

I haven't really commented on this whole thing. To me, it was getting a little tired.
But I'll be damned if that press conference didn't make me rethink this whole thing.
Kind of wild.

For example, on his first question asking why Stevens was in Benghazi, it's been public knowledge what he was doing there because his diary had already been published
I suppose you envision the duplicity as cute in a lawyer sort of way?
Now let's try again shall we?
Why was Stevens sent to a Consulate with exceedingly substandard security, in an unstable region, with substantial al-qaeda presence, ON SEPTEMBER 11th? What was the level of urgency demanding that risk?
Care to take another stab at that question now, with your redacted diary pages?

And Bush never captured Bin Laden, either, but it wasn't for lack of trying.
But, even to you, it was glaringly obvious that we had troops overseas looking for him, right?
