This is what I am talking about. America has given enough lives, money, and support so that Israel could be created in 1948. We have done enough. They can go find another Sugar Daddy.

It is absolutely not the responsibility of United States citizens, money, or military to babysit Israel. They choose to be located in that region they can deal with it.

Would you rather Israel cozy up to Russia and buy their military assets from them or buy them from us. It's not like Israel can manufacture all the weapons needed for a war if necessary.

I don't care what Israel does. Let them go extort some other country for Welfare. We have given them enough. How many more American lives should be lost over that shithole? How much more money should we give them?

I don't like the idea of our military, our tax dollars, and our policies should be used as the world police. But, it is what it is. Sadly, if we withdraw support from countries like Israel, then war would happen. It's what keeps the jihadi's at bay. The strength of the US. If we turned our back on our ally, 1) our foreign relations would go completely to shite and 2) nukes would fly.

Again, what you are saying sounds good on the surface. Isolationism sounds much better than sticking our noses all around the globe. But, the fact remains, many nations across the globe only exist because of our protection. We may not like it, but we are the good guys. Evil will try and destroy the other good guys across the globe, but our might is the only thing holding them back.

It is because israel is the actual leader of the united states of america.

They have started calling usa golem of israel, or goi for short but often just spell it goy.

The Israelis certainly don’t think of us as friends.

There’s a reason we’re their number one espionage target, and they have the third largest spy ring in the country, behind Russia and China.

You can be sure that any relationship with Israel will be one sided. And will only benefit Israel.

From the attack on the USS Liberty, which lasted more than an hour and a half killing 34 Americans and wounding 171, to Jonathan Pollard, who was tasked with obtaining intelligence they could sell to the Soviets, to Lawrence Franklin and AIPAC, our relationship has been one sided - and unfortunate.

The people of the Middle East revil in trickery and using people. This is true of the Saudis, and it’s doubly true of the Israelis.

We are a tool in their hands, and is they do not respect us, because of that, but they also resent us. Because they are so dependent on us.

When Netanyahu brag about what he’s gotten from Trump, he’s taking pride in his ability to extract things at no cost to himself or Israel.

I have been to the Middle East many times. Israel is absolutely a filthy shithole when compared to other countries in that region. You just won't hear about it because people won't praise or admit that Muslim controlled/occupied cities can be very modern and clean and also safe. This has been discussed on here many times.

Not to anyone that doesn't have some bizarre Israel bias which you have clearly shown. It is scary to think how much of more of a shithole that place would be without all our support and money.

The only reason it would turn into any sort of shithole would be because of its neighboring shithole countries who admit to wanting nothing more than for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth.

I second that emotion. How much trade does the US have with Israel? Other than pirouline wafers and halvah bars I can think of nothing they produce that we buy.

Yes

No.

Both Israel and the Palestinians are irresponsible. They act solely in their own immediate interest, and are fundamentally opposed to any type of stability or ME peace agreement.

Wrong. Our largely unwanted presence in the region and unwavering support of Israel creates exponentially more extremists than would ever hope to exist in our absence.

Not for lack of trying.

What most people are clueless about is that if any government ever attempted to influence an election beyond their borders it was when Obama sent David Axlerod to Israel four years ago trying to beat Netenyahuh.

Israel had a great Prime Minister in Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated by an extremist right-winger on Nov. 4, 1995 (during the third quarter of LSU/Alabama, no less!)

Since that horrific incident the governance of the Jewish state has just gotten more extreme, and Israel has rightly become the pariah of the civilised world.
