Israel can't defeat Ham and Hez in a two-front war? You born last week?. Israel has taken on Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, help from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran ALL at one time and made them cry like 2 little old girls within a week! They destroyed half of the entire Egyptian army and made the other half walk back to Egypt in their underwear, barefoot.

I believe they’ll take too many casualties in Gaza and they’ll pause combat operations offering Hamas a humanitarian ceasefire. It will be their way out. The urban terrain neutralizes many of their technical advantages, and will stress their relative weaknesses. With Hezbollah, Hezbollahs forces are better trained and much more experienced than the IDF. They’re qualitatively superior. The problem for Israel are the rocket forces though. Hezbollah can inflict damage in a scale that Israel can not afford. Fighting both at once is more than they can handle.

Unless Iran steps up, which they won’t, the choices seem to be “stay in place”, “find someone else to take them”, or “kill them all and let God sort them out.”

Both are true simultaneously.
The Six Day War was a major win.
The current Israeli army is not able to pull off a Six Day War sized victory, mainly because the areas in question are heavily urban and that was the part of 1967 that gave them the most trouble.
Whipping Egypt’s arse by taking out their entire air force then having complete air superiority over a conventional army works.
Urban fighting with a bunch of assholes who are on their home turf and who have supplies and tunnels everywhere? Less so. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t level the entirety of Gaza City anyway.

Actually its not. Israel just has to decide if they want to take the backlash for scattering the cockroaches by destroying every building in Gaza with bombs.

Maybe Israel has a lot to gain from always being terrorized by Gaza? It may sound like a joke but something like that does help to consolidate support, justify bypassing red tape, and marginalize all your critics as terrorist sympathizers.
Iran doesn't care about Gaza. Gaza is Arab and Sunni, where as Iran is Persian and Shiite. Gaza is just a useful tool for Iran. They are disposable. Hezbollah, on the other hand..

The IDF should go into Gaza and block by block destroy every building until it is a parking lot. Then do seismic mapping of the underground tunnel systems and drop bunker busters on them.
Then every Israeli citizen should be required to own a firearm and be proficient with it Swiss Army style. Make shooting contests, ranges and shooting clubs all the rage.

They’d had tight gun control to this point with regards to who could own one and how many bullets they could buy.
They may be rethinking that one after this since the IDF couldn’t respond for hours in some cases.

It would take time and a lot of intelligence, both which Israel has. It can be done with less blood loss on the Israel side than you think. The bombs they are dropping now are much more efficient with the tunnels than in the previous fights.

Yeah. Instead of hours for resistance to begin while terrorists roamed and killed among the defenseless, it would be almost instantaneous.
