I’m sure the issue isn’t killing all of Hamas, it is being able to destroy the infrastructure they have been using for the fight.
Israel has NOT been happy with those expensive tunnel systems the Palis have been building for one. My guess is that they use imaging to find where those are and not only collapse the tunnels themselves but the buildings they lead to.

The true issue is they need to wipe out all of Gaza.
Watch the videos of the poor Israeli girls being driven through the streets of Gaza. The “civillians” all have their phones filming the hostages in glee while screaming “allahu akbar” while they take turns running up to the truck bed to hit the girls.

IMHO, they need to be put on a slow boat to Iran or be shoved over the border into Syria or Lebanon.
Jordan, Tunisia, and other countries have already kicked them out for starting to cause major issues for them.

Destroy all of Gaza or transfer them. No country is going to accept them so that leads Israel back to the first choice.
