Who is going to stop Israel? The way I view Israel is like a small kid who does whatever they want because their older brother is there to protect them.

The land promised the patriarch, Abraham.
I believe some generation will see this come to pass and will serve as the trip wire for those who chase eschatology - as an aside, the New Jerusalem addressed by John in the book of Revelation fits quite nicely on this land mass

I have no idea what kind of guy you are - I do not recall you as one who I regularly track.

My little personal theory is that part of the reason Netanyahu (other Israeli politicians like Bennett or Lapid wouldn't IMO) is doing all this is because he knows the clock is running on US support being as unconditional as it is. They have to deal with Gaza, Iran and Lebanon *now* because who knows what US support will look like 10-20 years from now.

agreed. the other part of it is Netanyahu realizing his age and finite time in power. this is his whole life’s work finally coming to fruition.

I really don't care. Israel can take whatever land they can defend. To the victors, go the spoils! Those mooslums have tried to take on Israel and dailed miserably. Reference the 6 day war.
