Trumpette A asks a question.
Rational poster answers question.
Trumpette B injects “melt” or “cuck” or “skyscreamer” etcetera
Rinse and repeat

Great president, likely the best of my time. I'm probably a better human than he is and I'm not a great one.

Who is the most amazing President in your lifetime

The older I get the more i think less of politicians, to some degree they are all shite bags. However of my lifetime the one I agree with the most philosophically was Reagan, though I don’t agree with everything he did in office overall I think he was successful and necessary at the time.

Looking back some of the things Carter did, primarily deregulation (opening up for the possibility of craft beer alone should rank him in the top 10 ) have had lasting good effects.

Liberal mindset. It's the govt's money. If they take less from citrizens it must be "paid for". Simpleton mindset.

Go look at receipts and you will see how it is being "paid for".
You are the simpleton. The receipt are up in part because of the repatriation of profits, which is a one time occurrence. What about next year? The deficit next year is expected to be $1 billion.

The infrastructure should have been passed first, but the Republicans just couldn't wait to repay their benefactors

Oh my. Simpleton may have been generous.

You realize that calling someone a name does not refute their post? Apparently not.

You pass a tax cut to stimulate a stagnate economy, not in an expanding economy. That's econ 101.

What happened to the big talk about infrastructure? Why did the tax cut come first?

No. As presidents go, a solid #2 behind Reagan.

Too early to tell. We won’t really know until 2040, but yes, based on the past 2 years there is potential.

Not as much like cotton candy as the "free" stuff taxes pay for, but sure.

What a whiny, self-entitled little post.

The question posed on this thread (NOT by you) was “Is TRUMP the GREATEST Human Being in your lifetime?“

In the midst of discussion on that (ridiculous) premise, you insert a new question comparing him to some Dems, then you act like a jilted teenage girl when people did not automatically redirect the thread to YOUR question.

Grow up, Priscilla.

Yes, he is better than the Dems, just like he was better than HRC. Neither statement is a glowing endorsement of Trump. The fact that ANYONE is a worse human being than Donald farking Trump is simply testimony about how far the Dems have fallen.

Tax cut without concomitant spending cut was fiscally irresponsible, but no one ever claimed Trump was a fiscal conservative. He is a populist demagogue, and he gave the illiterate masses what he thought they wanted.

The sad thing is that most of them claim to be Republicans.

Better than HRC marginally?? I hope you're joking but I doubt it.

You mean aka “what it takes to win political office in America these days”?

Thanks for the hot take.

Thus far, his governance is FAR better than I expected, and thus FAR better than HRC, though it IS littered with Trumpist behavior and a handful of truly awful poliicies and thus far from optimal.

From a “human” perspective, however, both are atrocious examples of our species ... albeit for different reasons. Since everyone here AGREES on her defects, there is no need to go into them in detail.

Among other things, HE is narcissistic in the extreme, has exactly ZERO business ethics, and demonstrates the marital fidelity of a boar hog. From a political perspective, I also believe that he is inherently dishonest. I do not believe that he has any ideological substance whatsoever, and that he will say or do absolutely ANYTHING necessary for his own self-aggrandizement.

For sixty years or so, that meant demonstrating northeast liberal views ... so that is what he did. More recently, that meant feigning populist, center-Right, protectionist views ... so that is what he did. Again, it is my view that he is a chameleon with no underlying values whatsoever ... outside money and his own self-importance.

From a realpolitik perspective, one can certainly ask whether this really matters. If we get the policies and the SCOTUS we want, do we really care about the “why?” From a political perspective, I probably agree ... though I would still prefer a politician who actually MEANT it. But this thread is about personal traits. From that perspective, YES, I find him almost as offensive as I find HRC.

You asked a question. I answered it. Countdown to some dimwit saying “melt” is 3 ... 2 ... 1...
