We just went through/are going through massive inflation because of Trump/Biden spending. It is now more important than ever to get a fiscal conservative in office.
A populist won't cut it there.

The only value of a populist/nationalist would be in combatting the dialectic of Marxism. He hasn’t figured that out (mostly because he doesn’t GAF about political theory). So his embrace of populism doesn’t accomplish anything for the country other than possibly electing him again. And then nothing.
