I work for a company with several people from that country. Without them the company I work for wouldn't exist. They are able to provide skills that are hard to find in our country.

Why don't we challenge those coal miners and assembly line workers then? Coal is beyond dead: NatGas is cheaper, more efficient, safer, cleaner, and already being extracted alongside oil.
The ONLY ONLY ONLY reason coal power still exists is to pacify the few states whose economy's are entirely based on it such as WV and KY.
Coal gets around $5 BILLION a year from the government to remain viable - its a government hand out on an industrial scale and its absolutely disgusting. NatGas is the future. The coal miners need to adapt or die.
