It's actually designed to appease big business (mostly big tech firms who hate conservatives anyways) by giving them cheap labor.
American workers suffer because of it. The left loves immigration because of demographics/votes and the RINOs love it because they get their cheap labor.
I voted for Trump and will do so again but he needs to be MUCH better here.
The 'We don't have Americans to do these jobs' in the tech sector is one of the more absurd arguments out there.

Just wait until these companies realize they can pay people in India to do the job of all these workers that can suddenly do their job completely from home. They will pay them a small percentage of what an American worker would get paid.
