Not a boomer. (Swing & miss)

They’ll never be any justification for the actions that took place on Oct. 7.

The Rape of Nanjing comes to mind. Praise that while you’re at it, subhuman scum.

Know your fracking history or be doomed to repeat it.

It was a reasonable guess.

That's a whole lot of strawman abuse, though from a disengenuous propagandist.

People are allowed to question narratives even if it gives you the sadz. Especially when those pushing them are demanding unquestioning loyalty and support to foreign nations who have no concern for our national interests.

The actions of the Hamas inhumans wasn’t a narrative. But just keep denying things which are uncomfortable.

What have I denied?

What Hamas did was wrong. That doesn't mean people have to agree with Israel's response.

I am anti-war. What Israel and Hamas do to each other is of no concern to the safety and security of the United States of America. We should stay out of it. We should stay out of Ukraine. We should stay out of Syria. We never should have invaded Afghanistan or Iraq nor should we have helped overthrow Quadaffi or installed the Shah of Iran.

The U.S. should be focused on America. We have our own homeless, our own invasion, our own nation to build. Let Europe and the Muslim world fight their own wars. If they attack us again, nuke everyone from afar, never set one boot on the ground, and stay away.

The only relevant current issue where I believe in anything approaching a pro-war stance is that I believe we have an over-reliance on Taiwanese microchips, and thus an obligation to protect Taiwan from CCP invasion. However, we should also be in the process of re-shoring as much microchip production capacity as possible. As soon as we can function economically without Taiwan, I will no longer support defending Taiwan militarily.

biggest problem I have as an old guy is trying to remember names

I hear ya man.

I spend so much time groping for a word that I am ashamed to enter a conversation. As bad as I type, I still prefer communicating this way - I can take as long as I want to allow the word I'm searching for to surface. In real time it is quite embarrassing.

If you don't already start a habit of reading.

Read to learn new things. Read to formulate IN YOUR BRAIN the neural connections of new words, new ideas, newly learned concepts and facts.

When you find a word you dont know, or dont know it well, stop then, look it up, find its meaning.

When we do those things we exercise the absolutely wondrous mechanisms of our brain, its definition capabilities, its storage and recall functions, and our own memory functions.

I find it very helpful, and while I always read sporadically, and find regular daily reading a huge benefit.

The older you are - the more you know where this shite is headed.

The younger you are the more you are likely to say “we all want to live in peace!!!” It’s cute. But extremely naive.

Reminds me of the naive girl who took a road trip through through the Middle East to show the world how friendly and non Violent they are.

She got raped and murdered.

If they don't, it means that they are either very ignorant of the long-standing dynamic between Israel and "Palestine" or they are simply being disingenuous.

Because sympathy toward Jews and belief in their God ordained right to a home in the promised land was high at the time, financed in no small part by the zionist movement.
