If you’re not super rich you might as well get on the government dole. Either way you don’t care what’s going on in this country

Or grind your arse off to scrape by while your hard earned money is shipped to the Ukraine and used to pay the student loan debts of Gen Z communists who will vote you into poverty

Your question would better be phrased as "does the American government work for the middle class anymore?"

The answer is no.

We’ve become a nation of takers, and there is little incentive anymore for people to create and be productive. As a result, we’ve become a nation of mindless sheep, doing what we’re told, asking no questions, as long as we can stay on the take. This is not a moral or economically sustainable situation, as we are witnessing in real time. The settlers and founding fathers that built this country on principle would be ashamed of what we’ve become.

That means different things to people now.

But I moved out of the city and love it. It’s still there.

The best we can do rt now is just find a like minded area and you bring jobs and opportunity and support the businesses and you will be fine.

Your grand kids won’t though Because it will eventually spill into those areas.

He said a few things apparently. Most about Richard Nixon and the rest don’t really make any sense

And when you do manage to build that dream business, it runs the risk of being torched by a mob of angry pedophiles and woman beaters each time a rapist gets shot by a cop...

Yes. Especially now that we’ve lost half of MAGA who have fallen for the globalist propaganda to turn against Trump.

We deserve what we have coming.

This might be a bit overblown. Americans don’t have the attention span to focus on anything for more than a couple of days, much less for 2 years.

By next week people will have moved on to the next thing to be outraged about

Said "American Dream" was the establishment of the Middle Class by Constitutional Principle, where extraordinary motivation and work alone could vault one into relative economic affluence. With the creation of that Middle Class came a de facto 'Lower Class', of the which the Dem Party purports to serve.

In short, yeah, it's dying. The Collectivist/Marxist/Egalitarian Dems have paid off and convinced enough of the citizenry that Capitalism is selfish and immoral and should be eradicated via "fundamental change", and the Middle Class/American Dream is dying on the vine. It will be the Ruling Class that will prosper while all others are lumped into an 'Equal Class', far less affluent than their former Middle Class existence.

Of course, IMO, there are other things Spiritual) more important than affluence. But that's another argument altogether.

I retired at 40 from w2 labor and my Dad was plumber. I’m not from wealth. It’s out there for you. My only major mistake was getting married. I won’t do that again.
