Actually whites are 'people of color.' My 5th grade science teacher explained it this way..
When you combine all the colors of the spectrum you get white.
When there is a total absence of color you get black.
That's why when you turn out the lights at night and there are no stars or moonlight what you see is black.
When you combine all the colors of the spectrum you get white.
When there is a total absence of color you get black.
That's why when you turn out the lights at night and there are no stars or moonlight what you see is black.

In additive color mixing, like light, all the colors combined create white. Consider a prism and imagine the process in reverse. In subtractive color mixing, like paint, all the colors combined create black. This is because you've effectively blocked all other colors.

It's always white democrats coming up with that shite. Seems they just flipped around what white democrats of yesteryear used to say -"colored people " .

It’s simply an attempt to lump all non-white people, whether or not they have anything else in common.
More of the "us against them" mentality. Africa has more racial and ethnic groups (mostly "people of color") than anywhere in the world and they all pretty much hate each other, and enjoy nothing more than enslaving and hacking each other to death.

You don’t believe this because you lose the power of the oppression hierarchy if you do.

I just think it's funny how in 2018, saying "colored" would be considered racially insensitive, but saying "people of color," is not

i am a person of color and i am discriminated against every day
i see others getting unfair advantage over me in all aspects of life
when i must go to any form of government office i am singled out o made to wait longer and given a harder time with rules enforced must more strictly against me the others who dont share my skin color
in retail stores i see looks of scorn given to me and i am treated rudely by the workers there simply because of my skin color
racism is all around us if you simply care to admit the truth about it and its a shame in this day and age that we are moving backwards in our race relations this way.
the children of those who dont share my skin color teach their kids to be racists and blame others for their lack of effort or simply not having everything they desire given to them.
one day hopefully skin color will no longer matter. i know for a fact that everyone who i have met that shares my skin color has no racist feelings towards others yet they constantly are subjected to racism against themselves each and every day
so as a person of color who experiences racism every day i say its time racism ends in this country
i am a white man who finds it ironic that those who in the past were victims of racism are the biggest racists alive today

These distinctions were pushed forward by white folks in an age where "whiteness" directly granted you higher status and in some cases different rights under the law relative to others. But carry on thinking this is some newfangled construction "wordsmithing."
Nonsense at best.

Most "poor people" either lived through it or grew up with stories from their parents and grandparents of their life experiences living as second class citizens. If there is a sensitivity there it is directly related to real experience and history.
FIFY.

I can’t stand all of the constant racial angling but we used to put signs up saying “colored” so I don’t think this is a new invention by the Left.
No...but the bitter clinging to imagined current "oppression's" "suffered" by every minority with the mental illness of liberalism is a..not new..invention of the left.

They don't want to say what tbey really mean which is "anyone who isn't white" of course that was the old democrat party now a days they are pretty open and vocal about their anti-white sentiments.

Correct. How do you feel about the oppressive power of "whiteness"?

Appreciate the advice, but when we get out the history books and start re-hashing history we’re going to look truthfully at all cultures. Actual “history” want be kind to any non-white culture my friend. Genicide, poverty, famine, high death rates for women and children, and dictators the likes of which makes Hitler look like A boy scout abounds in the history of non white countries and nations. Fact dog and still goes on today, and You fuks have the Gaul to berate white culture??. GFY

Its like clubbing baby seals on the head.

To the "other people of color," it's also an attempt to get in on the Victim Train. Everyone wants to be a victim of the racist evil white man.
