It’s quite the quandary for ol’ Barry.
He pretty clearly wants to stop living the lie and be free to be who he really is.
On the other hand, if he does that, the whole house of cards he’s spent the past 3 decades crafting comes crashing down. The black community would undoubtedly disavow him completely.
