My generation is definitely comprised of a bunch of soft snowflakes. That being said, our parents' generation had the world handed to them on a silver platter by the greatest generation and they fricked it up by livin' it up for 20 years and then blaming the fallout in their children.

Make no mistake the generation screwing us all over is retired right now. They demanded an ever growing list of social programs and ever lower taxes. Running up a massive debt to leave to their kids and grandkids.

The boomers are also the ones in charge of all the universities pushing the snowflake mentality and are also the majority of democratic representation, also pushing that bull shite. Oh, and let's not forget that every snowflake was raised by either boomer or gen x parents. Sorry if your are upset with the fruits of your generations failure.

So we agree there is a problem with this "snowflake" generation that the boomers raised up, now we have to fix it.

You have to remember that the socialist/communists have been infiltrating the educational system, media and culture for over 90 yrs and they finally started to get control in the 60's. I was in the 1st wave of indoctrination with the love, peace and dope movement (60's-70's) but they did not have the system perfected until the PC shite took over in the 80's and 90's. So now that we have a real high overview of the problem how do we fix it?

Just as a side note, I have successfully de-programmed a few of my relatives and friends but it takes a lot of frickin work but the transformation is so damn rewarding.

You are correct RK, your parents/my generation were in the 1st wave of Prog/lib drone programming......, some of us quit getting high and the programming failed once the fog lifted.

Believe it or not, some "millennials," such as myself, never got into drugs, played competitive sports growing up (they actually kept score), went to college and grad school (on a full ride because guess what? I actually give a shite about my future and worked hard in school) and got degrees that are actually worth something. Not all of us are snowflakes and need therapy because something doesn't go our way.

Eh, there are quite a few on here of that age who are woke AF.

I think they're more leftist than GenX for sure. But they aren't all bad. I have hope for a majority of them.

That would require getting off your azz and actually working, putting your IPhone down, shutting of the PS2 and crawling outta the basement before 8AM. Oh and BTW the "boomers" are the ones who created the virtual playground you dopes exist in.

Yeah. You butthurt.

Oh I believe you and good for you young man. My daughter is far from being a snowflake but she's had a conservative influence around the home. However she has several friends that are consumed with this PC/SJW BS and I have some fun with these kids (20-22 yrs) when they come over to the house.

I'm GenX. I have plausible deniability.

We've never been large enough as a generation to swing anything one way or another. Most marketers ignore us. Hell, most news ignores us.

There are quite a few useless figs from my generation as well.

On the whole, we're a helluva lot less "snowflakey", mainly because we're not used to anybody giving a shite what we think.

Search the women in combat arms master thread. Note how many "millenials" are present in that thread. The note how many combat tours they have, then note how successful they have been since they left the military. Then punch yourself in the face.

We aren't all "snowflakes". Plenty of us died or were wounded overseas in these stupid wars. If you think everyone from their mid 30s down to their early 20s is a snowflake you are sadly mistaken.

It really isn't fair to lump everyone of this generation into that group of knuckleheads. I know a whole lot of them who are just as put off at them as the rest of us are, even more so because they're an embarrassment to them.

Generational bashing is stupid.

Generational identity is stupid, to be honest.

I've always thought it was a way to control behavior by telling entire groups of people what is expected of them, but I'm GenX and we "don't trust institutions" and are generally cynical and difficult to market towards.

My generation was told we were lazy and no good slackers. They made movies about it. I've personally always had pretty damned good work ethic, and never expected anything from anybody. We came of age when HIV was a death sentence and we were bitter about it, and blamed Boomers for it. Those self-absorbed, insanely narcissistic Boomers, who think they discovered everything.
