Trump just needs to re-org the CIA under the Department of War. Seriously this would fix the CIA’s recklessness, subversion and unaccountability.
As it stands right now when the CIA fricks up the Department of War has to clean up the mess. That’s why we don’t have as many problems with Defense Intelligence run by the generals. Defense Intelligence makes moves understanding the lives of servicemen hang in the balance. The CIA doesn’t have the same kind of moral burden so they act more recklessly.

Does anyone amongst us even know precisely what all each of those agencies are responsible for or what their “official”/technical objectives and missions are? Before we conclude that they’re not even truly necessary in the present times? I don’t mean to be rude or offensive, but I have a sneaking suspicion that most haven’t actually looked into those things.
And please note, the above commentary is separate and independent from the other conversation as to whether in their current state they can viably accomplish said objectives and missions.
