Because they keep calling it a he in the OT storm thread and that’s definitely a girls name.
Plus it’s raging like I’ve only ever seen gay people rage.

Never been one. There have been five crossover storms that were renamed, but in all five cases the next name in the opposite ocean was the same gender.

Storm names go male female male female and so on. Barry was a male name, Chantal was a female Dorian is a male name.

Regardless of the name assigned to a hurricane, it is always an “it.” Hurricanes should never be referred to as a “her” or a “him.”
