Maybe if Trump were more adamant that he opposed abortion but thought that the issue belongs to the states, that would do it for some Christians. His standard answer of simply "that's a state's issue now" may be true but doesn't help with those who think it's a really big issue, especially given that the Democrats are trying to take it over at the federal level.
Trump's appointed judges overturned Roe v Wade.
What more can a president do? Evangelicals voting for democrats doesn't make sense on any level whatsoever.

No I am no sheltered. I do not know one single person who in real life (not internet life) that supports a single Democrat.

They should smarten up and realize this is more than one issue, and putting it into the states hands should be a good thing for everyone to get behind.
We need more state legislation and getting away from a centralized government. As voters we get more of a say in policy that way.
I am one of them, but I am looking at the big picture of what a Trump presidency can do for our country vs the alternative. I mean not voting at all could get you the worst result with Harris/Walz. It makes no sense to me.

Boomers get their news from the legacy media.
The legacy media is in the pockets of the democrats so all they her is pro Democrat 24/7.

I think theyre slaves to social media mores.
For women, their peers opinions are more important than their own.

It's known as Toxic Empathy.
They feel all the issues of the world and buy into politicians who play into their emotions and feelings of guilt.

Trump's appointed judges overturned Roe v Wade.
quote:The Democrats have no shortage of ways to use federal power on this issue. Withholding federal funding for states that allow abortion. Withholding funding/aide for foreign countries who support abortion. Using the FDA to impose more strict regulations on the abortion pill. Enforcing the Hyde act and fighting federal funding of Planned Parenthood. The President could also lobby Congress for tax policies that penalize abortion providers and incentivize having children.
What more can a president do?

You don't need to win my vote. It's not about evangelicals voting for Harris. The issue is enthusiasm and demoralizion, where they may not show up in the numbers we need. This is the hardest component to figure out in an election when polling.

A greater percentage of women vote based on how the candidate makes them feel. The only woman who doesn’t move the needle towards women is Kamala.
Part of me wonders if white women secretly want the first female President to be white. I think they’re tired of black women stealing their thunder. But I’m just wondering that, I have nothing to base it on.

I think most of their motivation is either "social media feels", which is all about empowering "women of color" which gives them social clout. And also revenge against their Dads or jilted ex-boyfriends or husbands. They see a black woman being president as a way to channel their revenge.

Thanks for the proper use of the word "Ironic". Don't see it often.

I do not know one person, black or white, that is voting for Kamala.
I predict the biggest landslide victory for Trump, in American history.

Hilarious how MAGA gets mad at prolifers not being tied to Trump who is borderline the first openly pro choice Republican nominee.
This board has been advocating giving the finger to the pro life movement because “it’s not viable to win the election” and that strategy is now jeopardizing losing the election

"I'm not going to vote for Trump because he supports abortion, even though it is limited, so I'm going to run the risk of electing a woman who supports unrestricted abortion. I'm so principled. I really hope Trump wins though, because meeting the souls of all those extra babies in Heaven that were murdered because of my inaction will be awkward."
