That answers my question.

You're still of the belief that he is anti-establishment, but goes along with their agenda because he is "desperate for allies."

So Trump could continue on with the establishment agenda for eight years and he has a built-in excuse.

That would be awfully convenient for the establishment.

Have you noticed that the US foreign policy never changes with any president. almost the same.
Why is that?

Trump made some minor changes with anti-Nato and anti-interventionist policy, which causing uproar within the neoconic state.

I'm good so far.

Do you have any idea how much the US has completely meddled and destroyed countries in Central and South America?
The Caravans actually might have something to do with that

Is Trump following this philosophy in regards to Venezuela?

Venezuela is in chaos already and the chaos is spilling across the border as starving people flee into neighboring countries. Pushing an alternative gov that would at least have an economic policy that put food on the shelves and stabilized the region without American troops in the ground is intervention enough. Seeing this as some neocon plot or similar to the ME insanity is a sophomoric view and shows a lack of comprehension of the two. Basically a Tx tiger world view.

Not totally, but definitely to a less extent that his predecessors, which is refreshing

Venezuela has an internal dispute over who the rightful leader is. We have to choose which one we recognize because that's the person who speaks for the Venezuelan government. Every country has to make that call and most (including notorious SJW cuck Trudeau) are siding with their equivalent of Speaker of the House.

It's not like we invaded to topple Maduro, so the Iraq analogy fails.

I think we both know why that is.

You say this with a straight face, given his increased deployment in Afghanistan, unprecedented drone attacks in Syria, the backing of Saudi genocide in Yemen?

The only uproar Trump has caused within the neoconic state is a thunderous applause for his unwavering support.

I really don't understand this line of thinking. Obviously the poliboard admin is on your side.

If we are only allowed to continue the Group Think circle jerk, that should be clearly stated in the guidelines.

It seems I pose questions that make you and this board's admin quite uncomfortable. I really would like to know what you're afraid of.

Not when you put recent history into context.

The neocons plotted regime change in the Middle East, North Korea and Venezuela since before 9/11. They're trying to do it in Venezuela without putting boots on the ground.

Point is, Trump's words (in the OP) ring hollow given what is happening now in Venezuela...and for that matter what has been happening (in the ME) since he took office.

Tx reminds me of all of the so-called rebel kids who dressed goth 10 15 years ago and thought of themselves as unique. Even though they all looked exactly alike and all shopped at the same fricking store found in every mall in America

They pointed fingers at everyone else as being conformist even as they were the most conforming group of all

Tx is a prime example of a person who's a victim of groupthink pointing fingers at other people simply because they don't subscribe to his groupthink
