Does the cardboard cutout of the new gay Ayatollah concern you? lol
Killing meat suits doesn't mean the regime is gone.
There are hundreds of thousands in the regime (including their military-police force), and tens of millions who support the regime.
I swear it's like you people forget the last 30 years of conflicts in the Middle East

If you spend all your time on here and are NOT a giant failure in life, I want some of that secret sauce.

Some people here act like 1979 happened by accident. No one wanted the regime, the Ayatollah just showed up and somehow was in power one day. Since no one actually supports them, this should be like flipping a light switch and we'll be out of there by tax day.

I agree. We’re in it now. They need to finish what they started and do it quickly.

That’s exactly what it means. They rule by force and have virtually zero support outside of their inner circle.
This is a classic head of the snake war. The new government will dictate success.

Maybe, but the worst thing we could do it bail now. Unless you are willing to let Israel level the place.

Happened just this morning

How long was this war supposed to last? 4 weeks?
It looks like it’s just the beginning.
Newsflash to entitled Western world; things are not easy and sometimes you have to struggle abd fight for what you desire and believe in.
It's actually mind-blowing realizing how much sacrifice and blood was spilt to create the freedoms we enjoy today and how we the people of today have completely forgotten that's the only reason we get to be so vain and fortune

Other than the tens of millions who support them, you mean

a. It's going to be a long, bloody conflict to get that proposed "new" government in place
b. You don't know who will win that civil war.

When you are challenged effectively, you go towards shrill gibberish in a heartbeat.
Here is another fact - the sainted protestors of the Vietnam War caused about 90% of our casualties there.
Pull out another couple of pages of text, but remember, nobody is paying you by the word here. The real world does not work like a courtroom.
Here is another fact - we prosecuted WWII to the end because of the Jews. That is the most recent war where we did. Nobody gave a shite about gypsies and the rest.
If you whiners care so much about Israel's influence, what the frick are you doing about it?. Get out there in public and say what you do here.
Come back with your pithy comment now. I will be back the next time you say something stupid that amuses me.

It didn't. We had a terrible President who assisted another other terrible European leadership spearheaded by France to bring these atrocities upon the world (and ourselves).

This is exactly what we told y'all would happen.
You're already preemptively excusing escalation and "boots on the ground".
If this does occur, would you agree the decision to start this war was a bad one?

They don't have the fire power to do this.

Challenged? I was responding to someone who agrees with me. It wasn't even my point. I was just adding to his point.
Can you read?

You're proving his point and you don't even realize it

Who the frick was talking about Israel's influence?

As it stands, this is an open ended war. It will only end when Trump decides to cease hostilities and bring everyone home.
Therein lies the problem. It’s unlikely we’re going to have a friendly government in Iran. So it’s a matter of how much more we can downgrade their military capability or their ability to promote terrorism. Those are very difficult objectives, and they are difficult to define…
I think it's very possible that Trump will declare "victory", mutter "obliterated"
and walk away. Most of the board will believe anything he says about
the actual situation...

Just be sure to eat some Freedom Fries and listen to Toby Keith when you're done using it.
