BREAKING: Iran warns of cancelling all upcoming negotiations, re-imposing the full Hormuz blockade and responding with missiles over the direct violation of the US-Iran MOU's first clause, with Israel continuing military aggressions in southern Lebanon, including last night, despite explicit commitment from the first clause to end the war and guarantee Lebanese sovereignty, per Tasnim.
Iran explicitly rejects any "theater from Trump" about Netanyahu being rogue, and now Friday's Geneva meeting to launch the first round of 30-day technical talks between Vance and Ghalibaf is on hold over the violation, as no trip has been confirmed or scheduled just 24 hours after the MOU was electronically signed.
All of this hand wringing over how much money Iran will receive is irrelevant. They aren't getting shite. Anyone paying attention should be able to tell you this. Everything they're doing here is designed to put the Iranian regime in an impossible situation.
We will see a coup within Iran before we see them get hundreds of billions of dollars.

Iran is in the best position not an impossible one. they could close the strait forcing us to use all our reserves. USA kicked the hornets nest because Israel told us to and we're getting stung.

There are multiple levels, but we can't protect the SOH to a level necessary for global commerce to work properly within reasonable cost structures. Not being able to protect ships to a level where the ships can insured for rates that are economically viable is a big part of that.
