Not the Houthis. Iran itself and looking Biden in the face and saying "What are you going to do about it?"

Fox News

Iranian forces have seized an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman, two U.S. military officials confirmed to Fox News on Thursday.

The seized vessel, previously known as the Suez Rajan, was once at the center of another dispute between the U.S. and Iran that ultimately saw the U.S. seize over 1 million barrels of Iranian crude oil. Armed Iranian soldiers reportedly boarded the vessel Thursday morning.

The U.S. and other Western navies have been combating attacks from Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen in the Red Sea for weeks, but Iran itself had not taken direct action beyond sending one of its naval vessels to the region. The Houthis had been a State Department designated foreign terrorist organization until February 2021, when the designation was revoked by the Biden administration.

Blinken will shuttle between various Middle East capitals to discuss this situation. That'll teach the Iranians a lesson.

The media and intellectual class will continue to portray our reluctance to deter Iran as "Biden making the tough choices not to drag America into a broader conflict" instead of "the WH's pathetic and incessant need to continue to prop up hopes for resuming the failed JCPOA"

I don't care that the tanker was part of some past dust-up.

Who currently owns the tanker? Is there oil in the tanker or empty? If loaded, who owns the oil in it?

In other words, why should we care they seized this particular vessel?

It's totally logical for a country to provoke your enemy when your enemy is led by a retard. This would never happen with Trump. Iran's not suicidal.

Our WH, SOS, and Pentagon have begged them to stop several times. Even with a “pretty please”.

Follow by “….or we’ll have to do something!” While we do nothing.

They know we’re a paper tiger under Dems. So they just ignore our pleas and keep increasing attacks. Because there’s zero consequence.

This is a classic example of US weakness inviting aggression.

He does look impotent. But remember Iran is looking for a war. If we start blasting them, they will blast back. And I wouldn't doubt if they have a secret nuke we don't know about.
Sooner or later we will war with Iran.

Common sense tells me we just need to wipe out their navy or helicopters that allows them to seize ships.

Don't we have radar drones that tells us Iranian navy ships or helicopters are in an unauthorized areas of shipping?

Something doesn't make sense.

The administration is afraid of a larger war. That's about the whole of it. I suspect we will take a bunch of punches and then a bunch of punches.

Considering that the US government (cia) has been looking everywhere for a war, I'll need verification from a third party.

Via Israel. America's present day leadership cares nothing about justice, righteousness, or honor. They care only about financial power, blinded by greed. They would think nothing of pushing Israel into the grinder if it benefits us.
