It hasn't changed at all. You are clueless again.

You would have to be a total retard to think that Iranians havent changed in 45 years.
But here you are.

This. We had the women’s marches there a couple years ago as well as the election protests under Obama. The regime survived both by calling in the tanks.

They were in the streets calling for a return of the Shah. That just brings a secular version of graft and abuses. See the 60's and 70's. Political Dominance is in their DNA

Mosaddegh was a strongman, but Iran was moving towards democracy on its own prior to 1953.

The starting point to any starting democracy is a strongman.
Cromwell in the UK
Washington in the US
Napoleon in France

Now it could easily go to hell, but Persians are not like Arabs, they have many more centuries of institutions and identity.

Again best chance for a bad bet.

Brilliant response. Sounds like a 4 year old when they know they're losing the argument.

You haven’t made an argument. Roger the prognosticator is ALWAYS wrong.

Pakistan

About to become a problem bigger than Iran.

Probably would be useful to put Iran in the good column before Pakistan moves into the bad column...

"Iranian Americans" voted for the Democrat in the last two elections the only ones I checked. In 2020, by a large margin.

quote:

In the 2020 election, the contrast was more stark, with Joe Biden receiving an estimated 65% of the Iranian-American vote in contrast to just 32% for Donald Trump.

Iran is predominantly Shia Muslim, making up about 90 percent of the population, while Sunni Muslims and other Muslim sects account for roughly 9 percent. If we enact regime change, 100% we will. And you will not honor your ban, just like the other three haven't.
