western civ has this romantic view of warfare where civilians aren't harmed. The amount of citizens we killed in WW2 while firebombing entire cities would make ISIS blush. You do what's fricking necessary in real war. It's like American's think theres some made up battle field where armies go to hash things out. To win wars, you throw the book out the window and go fricking win

United States is probably weaker now than it’s ever been since maybe when the settlers first got to Northern America territory

We have shitty people in charge, but we aren't weak by any means. Any country that has 1/4 of the military capabilities we have could never be considered weak.

It certainly doesn’t help but we have tens, probably hundreds of thousands of anything that was left. The crime there was unnecessarily arming jihadi muslims, when we could have just as easily left them nothing but sand.
It may make us look weak, but I don’t think it actually weakens us in any material way.
