At the end of the day, the leaders are usually really good at convincing others about blowing themselves up for allah to get 750 virgins in heaven, but their own instincts for self-preservation kick in when it’s their own neck on the line.
Obviously they know a nuke would be met with severe retaliation. Even “throwing everything (conventional) they have” runs the risk where they are defeated, and then become susceptible to internal forces that knock them out of power. On the other side of the coin, if they do all this saber rattling and then only follow it with token action they show weakness.
I expect something significant.

There is nothing, NOTHING, they could do to make this a winning situation for Harris. I completely believe this would lose votes for her as people are scared into voting for Trump as a strong leader who presided over a peaceful 4 years. This would shift polls significantly.
