Credit where it's due.
Everyone trashes SFP, but he also said 1,000 times that the regime just needed to survive and they win. He was ripped endlessly for that and here we are.

Naw dude we are going to arm the civilian population and are telling them to hide until we're done bombing
Oh wait, now the cope-spin is that the civilian population listening to us and not revolting without arms and while bombing was going on shows they don't want regime change, so this is their fault.
Oh wait now it's that we weakened China, even though nobody can explain how.

This isn’t some huge insight. This goes for all conflicts unless you kill massive amounts of your enemy including women and children or they assimilate into your society.
