Are we just assuming that we actually are intending to send troops in? Because what he has said publicly contradicts this.

I'm not concerned with their loyalty to the regime. I'm concerned with potential hostility towards us and ability to hamper stabilization.
Fair enough thought
I have no direct insight or intel but seems that a lot of citizens wants this regime removed. As such, they are promoting and cheering the current efforts to do so.
Time will tell on true thoughts but so far very encouraging.

Their army is very much not gone.

Gotcha.
Having their entire command structure collapse is a problem for them though. Not defeated, no, but they are experiencing defections. The Basij has been going door to door shooting civilians. Reports they're operating on standing orders given before the strikes began.
They'll be a problem for the Kurds or whoever goes in as it stands now. But we are still early into the demoralizing bombing campaign that they expect to last up to 4 weeks.
I have a feeling things will change quite a bit before it comes to that.

This is the most formidable army we’ve come across since Vietnam and probably Korea. To say the army is defeated is retarded
You crawling out of the gutter to melt is so on brand

We are eliminating the 47 year threat that our previous weak leaders have allowed to fester.
What about the 6 years we supplied them with weapons in the1980’s.
Reagan campaign made a deal with Iran. If Iran wouldn’t deal with Jimmy Carter over the US Embassy hostages he would sell them weapons. Reagan’s first day in office the hostages were released and that year we started selling Iran weapons
Iran wasn’t a threat to us in the 80’s we were funding their war against Iraq. They weren’t a threat to us in the early 90’s because we were at war with Iraq. We allowed Iran to seize over 90 Iraqi aircraft during the 1st Gulf War.
47 years is a good sound bite. Saying Iran has been a threat for 47 years is a lie and completely false

The Iraqi Army was twice as large as the Iranian Army.

I will cut to the chase with my thoughts. Who gives a frick, they were a threat a week ago, not as much today.

This is usually the straightforward phase. The difficult part comes afterward, when you suddenly have a few hundred thousand trained and armed men who now have no job, no status, and no clear place in whatever comes next. Historically that’s where we drop the ball.

Bruh its 2025 not 2001
We dont need "boots" on the ground or anything
We are gonna just bomb the shite of of them. They are not formidable in any way to us. We arent even using the space lasers, we are getting rid off all the old bombs we have
Like i said you crawling out of the gutter to be a panican wierdo like you were prior to 2024 tells me all I need to know about how this will go
