Neither fact matters if their behavior is illegal regardless of motivation/justification.
What they did wasn’t legal even if there was a crime and they knew about it.

Maybe Arbery was overcome by the need to run toward and attack an armed man. Only
You ans I must not be watching the same video. Arbery is shown going over to the other side toward gun holder.

You’ve never beaten an adult in a debate.

Does that show him physically taking anything?
Doubtful, the defense would have brought that up if it did. Unfortunately there are large portions of the house that's out of the field of vision of the cameras, so you don't know what you don't see.

Were there other people also on camera walking through the property?
Pretty sure yea, think I read a couple (man and woman) at dusk being seen on camera as well. Not sure though.
The cameras were only put up after things went missing, so prior to that we know even less.

So nothing was linked to him directly, and we aren't 100% sure that it is Arbery on camera, right? How are people so certain he was the thief?

Not sure who is so certain, or what evidence they have of it. All I've done is shown a trail lawyer saying that all that's needed to attempt a citizens arrest is the preponderance of evidence suggesting that Arbery entered that residency with the intent to steal.
Maybe the person Ben interviewed is mistaken, I don't know. But we'll see as the trial progresses and specific law is brought up.

If someone hits me with their car, and I try to subsequently take a gun from them, they don’t get to claim self-defense.
And that STILL doesn't mean they chose to chase and shoot him because they suspected him of theft. You seem to think I'm offering a legal defense for them; I'm not. His description was inaccurate and that's what I was correcting.

Yes, calling people a fig and a dumbfrick is generally a sign you're an adult debating a topic you have a great handle on...

according to the mcmichaels their knowledge of a felony was "I saw him hauling arse" and when mcmichaels were asked if he had even broken into any houses answered 'thats just it IDK'
we dont need to invent hypothetical scenarios like azkiger does which are contrary to facts from their statements to police.

But what is likely is that all three people involved in this are shitheads.
That's been my take ever since the story happened.
I don't think a flag sticker equals racist a-hole, but that's only one way to be a shithead.

That day.
About two weeks prior they're on bodycam saying that Arbery (didn't know his name at the time, but recognized the guy from the house footage and Travis actually confronted him personally) had been seen on the property five times at night, things had been taken, and that they thought he was armed (because he reached into his waistband and threatened Travis when he confronted Arbery).
That's not a hypothetical, it happened and was submitted as evidence in court.

I'm certain the mcmichaels gave a statement to police they didnt even know if he entered a residence. this is a fact you cannot seem to reconcile so you choose to ignore it.
if for your fabricated scenario that they did somehow have immediate knowledge of such a felony, why did they lie to police during the initial homicide investigation?

No you're just not smart enough to figure out that they don't need to "know" anything.
All they need is the preponderance of evidence tilted in their favor.

the statute requires immediate knowledge... and your argument is that they dont need any knowledge??

Why is this case getting zero attention all anyone is talking about is the Rittenhouse case
Seems to me it’s Kyle will probably get off and the media needs as much controversy as possible. These dudes getting convicted does nothing to create more division

It seems that actually linking the thefts to him with some sort of physical evidence would be the best way to make that argument, and not a random appeal to 'preponderance of evidence,' because in the former case, there is actually a preponderance of evidence. Maybe it is telling they aren't making that argument.
