If you put political considerations before law and order and the stability of your communities, you're not fit for public office and you need to resign.

I literally said that today before Trump's speech I got downvoted for it because by people who were scared shitless that Trump getting tough would mean he loses reelection.

At this point it's up to your mayors and governors. So far, they have done zilch.

Jesus Christ you progressives are all about the ends justifying the means aren’t you? Dozens of our biggest cities literally in fire because 4 cops were assholes? Seriously? Does that seem an appropriate response to you?

It's troubling that some folks feel like elections are pointless.

Anyone else remember when they called the US the land of the free, and the Soviets (who didn't hold elections) were the oppressed?

Sentrius this is coming from you who wants Loeffler over Collins because Atlanta is turning purple and you want a GOP in seat.

It’s absolutely fricking hilarious watching your double standards man.

What happened to “if it saves just one life”?? So, vulnerable citizens of these cities deserve to have their lives shattered because their local and state governments have Level 6 TDS?? If Trump cleans it up he will win people over.

Despite the overwhelming majority of them being peaceful?

Smart move.

Give the peaceful protesters a reasonable allotment of time during the daylight hours to protest. Anything beyond that gets met with force, when the thugs go to work.

is this the first riot in your life?

But yeah I’ll admit this isn’t about George Floyd anymore. No one can bring him back. It’s about preventing the next such incident.

Might be. I think Maga needs to wait as long as he can. Until the suburbs are attack, then light their arse up. If he looses, so be. We have had 4 good years. We will take it from there. We might win the battle but not the war. To many of them, including the sick liberals. I noticed there are as many or more white kids doing this.

What does a senate race have to do with stopping violent riots and restoring law and order? And what does it have to with President Trump carrying out his constitutional responsibilities to enforce the law?

Btw, neither Kelly Loeffler or Doug Collins support those riots, have rightfully condemned them and want no part of them.

was not peaceful

Impeding anybody from going anywhere they want is not "peaceful".

Go ahead and welcome this new normal where the police/military disperse non-violent protests with tear gas and rubber bullets.

Go ahead and welcome this new normal where our government labels ideologies as terrorist "organizations" so that it can claim that anyone is anything and do as it pleases to get around those pesky due process laws.

Go ahead and welcome this new normal where "peace" is not natural but demanded with force.

Just remember where the frick you stood when you finally realize that you welcomed fascism to the US with open arms.

You specifically stated you would rather law and order in what you voted for over a politician trying to win.

Yet you state you want Loeffler over Collins, a proven conservative, because you believe Loeffler gives the best chance to keep Georgia red.

So which is it man

You think trump escapes and wins re-election by sending in the military?

Where is that same principle in wanting Collins over Loeffler?
