Instagram said the cartoon "compared the moral outrage of abortion to the moral outrage of slavery,” and was considered by instagram to be hate speech.
For those who aren't aware, the Babylon Bee is a satirical website, a la The Onion.

And it only seems to happen to conservatives.”

The cartoon wasn't satirical. It was legitimate social commentary, and it was an apt comparison.
Except, of course, that slaves weren't guaranteed death.

Appeared to me to be very well done and thought provoking. Perhaps that is why it was offensive because you cannot have their viewpoint and rational thought at the same time.

Just saw the cartoon. Damn that was a great juxtaposition.
How that could be interpreted in ANY way as "hate" speech is beyond me, and patently absurd.

That cartoon is very tame. If that becomes the standard for 'hate speech' than we'll no longer be able to have a discussion about anything that's controversial. Which, I'm sure, is the point.
