Biden doesn't know the definition of roads, bridges and airports.

He wants free internet so the "poor" can sell their children online to sex traffickers.

Bingo.

Because they know that polls well - "Would you support increased spending/increased taxes?" 99% of Americans are like, "Hell naw." "What if it was for infrastructure?" "Maybe."

So, that's the play, now. All the wealth redistribution they want to do, climate change nonsense, job destroying socialism is justified with "muh infrastructure".

Biden is rewriting the definition to some significant words in the dictionary.

cyber security would probably fall under infrastructure

internet access? that depends. building networks (or paving the way to make more networking) is certainly infrastructure

cyber security

Internet is infrastructure and considering the colonial ransomware attack and the many others that don’t make the news I think it’s something we should probably address.

Cybersecurity and internet access are definitely infrastructure.

One of the few points in which we are in agreement.

What is your view on the child care aspect?

What are your thoughts on access? I thought access was available. It has been everywhere I have lived. At least since Al Gore invented the internet.

Fixing potholes resonates well in Peoria. They can just lie and change words however they please MSM won't call them out on it, and they go about their business. It is quite the scheme.

I think we do have fairly solid access across economic class, but we can improve broadband access in rural areas, which would hopefully incentivize people to move or remain there if telework opportunities remain.

I'd also like more computer education in early education, as my view is that we need students familiar with programming languages as early as possible. Though I'm involved in medicine, knowing Python and SQL has helped tremendously in my research projects. The fundamental goal should be to ensure as many people as possible understand, at even a basic level, some of the technologies with which they interact with daily. I don't know how to develop such an early education program though.

I'm OK with Internet being tossed into the Infrastructure bag because so was phones before that. The Internet is no longer a luxury, it's a necessity. But all the rest is bullshite.

He has already said the pipeline is a private entity and thus why would it get money from an infrastructure bill?

Idiots.

Biden had said this is a clear example of why we need my infrastructure plan.

Next sentence me is the pipeline is a private entity and not under the governments jurisdiction.

We're at the point Internet-wise where we were with phones in the late 50's/early 60's: 80% of places have easy, affordable access to the tech, while 20% have either no reasonable access (dial-up simply isn't sufficient anymore) or very expensive, poor quality access (satellite). Which is why we're seeing this push for rural broadband. The local electric co-op in Elmore County, AL, is the party running fiber out there, because Charter or WOW simply isn't going to go to those areas.

It’s almost like they’re ushering in socialism.
