The Nazis were left wing. Not only is socialist in their name, all of their companies were privately run but were under the control of the govt. It's what China is doing now.

Thank all of you for the history lesson. The left is calling the "right" nazis. Why is that? No matter what you call it, at some point you end up under government control, unless you have protections in place to prevent that and adhere to those rules.

Again, on the sliding scale, do they have be card carrying Klans men or do people living on a compound count?

It would seem to me that due to lack of damage inflicted on society those numbers would be low.

Agreed there is a section of people who's beliefs are further off than most.

On the right that could include sovereignty people or klansmen.

On the left that would be trans, left wing Islamic etc...

My issue is that far explicitly means away from.

The media is in a left wing bubble. So to them center means where they are, not where the country is.

It's a false definition. Left and right is simply the spectrum of govt control vs. individual freedom. The left is North Korea. The most right in US history was westward expansion of the pioneers. There was no govt.

Not always true, for example a far right person might want to ban Gay Marriage while a Far left person might want to enforce it on bakers.

Statist vs Libertarian
Conservative vs Liberal

Both are dimensions.

Exactly what I was saying. Both are totalitarian whether people want to admit it or not. It's not linear...

The left has managed to frick the definitions all to hell and frankly, the majority of the right has fallen for it.

A lot of people argue it's a circle that meets itself. I disagree.

To me, it's really not that complicated. It's a line with total government control at the left end point and complete anarchy at the right end point.

The left started the stupidity when they would refer to Soviets who wanted to keep communism as "far right". Like WTF? Full Communism = far right? LOL bullshite.

To me, there's no real reason to distinguish between ideologies on WHY they might want full government control. I don't care if you're a communist, or a Muslim who wants theocracy................that shite is FAAAAAAAR Left full government control.

It's really not complicated. Left = less freedom. Right = more freedom. The end.

Of course, as I noted. The far right end point is complete anarchy so it's not like I'm trying to sit here and tell you "total freedom" is without its drawbacks. LOL

Which is why BOTH of those are actually left positions. It IS linear. The idea it isn't is what's fricked up our thinking on it.

Now, very few people want TOTAL freedom(anarchy)...........and very few want TOTAL government control(far leftism).

But that's how it breaks down. If your position steps in the direction of anarchy, it's moving right. If away from anarchy, you're moving left.

All voting machines can be hacked or manipulated.

These private companies will not even let government officials look inside.

NONE are secure.

Why on earth should we let private companies with proprietary software count our votes?

Of course they were part of the steal, but what they are doing in the down ballot races is just as important.

Our own Louisiana election computer system was hacked by a white hat hacker in 3 minutes a few years ago.

We should not be using ANY machines for voting or any part of the process, really.

Fair and secure elections should be a bipartisan issue.

Funny part about this is the right are the ones trying to enact change and the left are acting like neo cons that want to keep the status quo of the last 30 years.

I hate that definition because it's meaningless. Change what? And hell, which is "maximizing"?

Moreover, if you defined it that way then, if the people who want to maximize change GET the change..............THEN, suddenly, the people who want to change back are the ones who want to MAXIMIZE change!!!
