You are right the system is broke. Like the illegal that was hired as a police officer in Maine, the chief of police had a letter from Homeland Security stating he was eligible to be hired.
The ICE raid in GA, at the Hyundai’s facility has pissed off the South Korean government, seems like a whole bunch of their citizens were arrested.

Most of the employees probably used fraudulent papers and stolen SSNs.
With all the ICE raids and arrest, just wondering if anyone will be getting notified that their SSN was discovered being used by and illegal.

Circumvented through a staffing agency most likely.

475 arrested all from Korea. But did they get the 4 they wanted?
What South Korea had to say-
What the US had to say-
What South Korea had to say-
quote:
“In the course of U.S. law enforcement, the economic activities of our investment firms and the rights and interests of our nationals must not be unjustly infringed upon," said Lee Jae-woong, a spokesperson for South Korea's foreign ministry. "We conveyed our concern and regret to the U.S. Embassy today and urged them to take special care to ensure that the legitimate rights and interests of our nationals are not violated.”
Jae-woong added that an on-site task force will be established in Georgia with the help of the South Korean consulate in Atlanta.
What the US had to say-
quote:
"This was not a immigration operation where agents went into the premises, rounded up folks and put them on buses. This has been a multimonth criminal investigation," Schranck said.
No criminal charges in connection to the investigation had been filed as of Friday.
On Friday afternoon, a judge in the Southern District Court of Georgia unsealed the 15-page search warrant allowing federal agents to go into “the lithium battery cell manufacturing plant” on the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America campus “that is currently under construction.”
The warrant authorized federal agents to seize employment records and immigration documents as well as ownership and management records related to the construction site.
According to the warrant, authorities were also looking for four individuals, but the reasons why the federal government was specifically interested in them remains under seal.

Congress is the problem.
So what we have to do is reverse engineer this problem, and that starts with arresting high profile CEO’s that benefit heavily from this operation.
These arrests should be the leading story every night on every major new network for weeks.
We all know every member of Congress and the Senate is bought and paid for by these assholes.
Phone calls will start ringing in to these Congressman.
Use that leverage to strong arm Congress to draft heavy legislature with extremely harsh punishments if CEO’s continue to employ illegals.

That’s me and my partners. And no, we’re not fighting to keep anything the same. We are just trying to get work, do work, make money and comply with the law.

are you paying below market?
No. An hour ago I called the manager of the group that hires most of the construction hands, to ask him about rates. He said they are remaining steady right now. And we do not have different classes of workers that make different amounts depending on if they are legal. Every one of them is presumably legal, but I’d bet my bottom dollar that at least 15% of them are illegals.

A few years ago ICE raided a poultry processing plant on Sand Mountain in NE Al. and the excuse was they used a 3rd party recruiter who was supposed to vet their immigration status.
Just stay at arms length from the recruiting process.

They can investigate and probably find these NGOs are helping illegals obtain fake documents.
NGOs and cartels. Actually one and the same.
