Remember when Trump publicly called on the Fed to keep interest rates at zero?
Yes. I remember it well. He was right.

Then remember when he spent trillions on COVID bailouts which was really a payoff to China and mega corporations?
Yes. I remember it well. Obviously you don't. You should refresh your memory.

How about that time Trump recommended that the states suspend civil liberties and shut down the fricking economy!
Yes. I remember it well. You should review circumstances, details and rationale there. You seem infested with recency bias.

I also remember Pedo Joe sending billions to Ukraine while we pay ridiculous prices for fuel, groceries and utilities.

Agreed. I think we have another 20% downside assuming things just remain on the current trajectory.

This really sucks badly. I don’t even like to log into my 401K account anymore.

I’m down 200k. Thankfully I still have another 15 years to hopefully ride this shite show out.

I'm down 100k-120k in the last year and a half.

I had kids accounts for college and incidentals going gangbusters down 30k as well as my 401k cut by 30%

They've crashed.

I've been able to hedge out in cash looking for entries from the spring but my 401k I didn't have that option.

It's unreal.

Wiped out and still people bitching well trump was unpresidential...

Who gives a frick. I don't plan on having him over to dinner.

Fix our fricking borders.
Don't start new wars.
Make nato members pay their fair share.
Grow the economy.
Quit kissing other countries asses and getting bent over by china.

Mean fricking tweets though.

How much was it worth to me, or how much has it cost me?

Then you should understand we're paying for some of his dumb decisions now. No, Uncle Joe isn't helping. But Trump fricked us too.

Topic has been discussed extensively previously. I'm happy to rekindle those. But as a generic, there weren't many dumb Trump decisions.

Yes, printing money and issuing stay at home checks was brilliant.

How exactly did Trump print money?

Stay at home checks were in response to government shutting things down. The alternative was to nuke the entire private economy. Extending them thru 2021 was unnecessary, counterproductive, and not Trump's doing.

Unless you are retiring in the next ten years why is anyone checking their 401k? Just max out contributions and live your life.

If you don't monitor your investment and work accordingly you deserve to lose money.

I'm sorry to hear that. Did it peak under Trump or Biden?
