But choses not to address it financially.
So, it falls to the side much like renewable energy. It is not financially constructive.
I have a lot more respect for this response than the typical "it doesn't exist" like many of you rednecks.

Climate Change is a social construct.
The earth is climate fluid and it can identify as different things, even day to day.

This thread is fake news.

Did he say "man-made" climate change?

You people are fricking idiots. NO ONE denies the climate is changing. Science itself argues that man isn't causing it, nor can we do anything to stop it.

6000 years ago or a more accurate reading?

so...still, do nothing

I’ll start caring about climate change when I see evidence that is is negatively impacting people around the world

i've always landed on this. i admit, i'm not smart enough to say i know it is or is not real, but i do know pumping stuff from the earth into the atmosphere isn't good.
but it's completely unprovable to say it's causing a change that is tangible. if people find a better alternative that's finanically viable, cool. i'm on board. but until then it's not worth it.
when they have a solar panel that can completely replace my electric lines and run my AC in Texas summers, we'll talk.

The climate is always changing, it's called weather and seasons.
The inference we see today with the common "climate change" is that of it being man made. That's where the disagreement lies.
But let's say it is being driven in part by Man. Currently the largest producer is China, they produce more greenhouse gases than the US and EU combined. Focus your energies on getting them to cut back on such production instead of domestically (where we have trended downward since 2005).

Now that Trump has approached your level of enlightenment can he expect your support in 2020?

Dont get bogged down
His daughter will leave town and he says its not real.
Then he will have two filet of fish, malt and take three hours of "Executive Time"

I'm sure that giving money to Al Gore is not going to somehow stop hurricanes.

No one with a working brain doesn't think climate change is real.
Where we disagree is many people fail to realize the climate has been changing for 4 BILLION fricking years.

It is real, and has been happening for billions of years.

Meh. There were ice ages, interglacial periods and greenhouse periods before humans existed. Assuming the planet survives us as a species (which is extremely likely), there will be ice ages, interglacial periods and greenhouse periods after we're all gone.
Starving/freezing/making miserable billions of people in some vain effort to stem the infinitesimal effect we're having on this completely natural, organic cycle isn't going to change any of that.

How refreshing to have a president that recognizes the big ball of fire in the sky that provides heat, light and climate changes for our planet. He sure is a smart guy. I'll be sure to vote for him again.
