re: In all honesty, do you believe Trump will win?

Once the sugar high wears off she’ll crash in the polls. The Dems were so desperate for anyone to replace Biden they would’ve taken anyone. If Hitler were alive today he’d be their top guy. Just say a few nasty things about Israel, toss around some socialist ideas…might have to change his tune on non-whites a tad but you get the idea. Harris will bomb just give it time

She will just sit back a pull a 2020 Biden.
Attack Harris, not the people you need as your allies.

Following tomorrow’s meltdown…..bank on it.

If the media tells them whatever it is you're talking about is not true or that it's Republican's fault, or Biden's fault and not Harris', (which they absolutely will), you're going to be surprised at how many of them can still deny it all the way to the polls.
I know it's strange to us considering we spend 4+ hours talking politics every day (believe me, I didn't believe it until I saw firsthand), but there's like a 30% contingent out there who consumes no media whatsoever outside of social media (mostly Facebook) and streaming. This group definitely knows inflation is bad and have no idea it's "improving". These people still vote, however, because they feel like they must or something (idk).
I have a personal bellweather in my in-laws I monitor and she's inadvertently correctly predicted the winner of each election since I've known her (2014 midterms). She's still with Trump for the economy as far as I'm aware.
There are millions of people like this (OT is full of them)

I'm inclined to agree, but if you look on the bright side, people are already rebelling from 2012-2020 levels of wokeness and swinging right. If Kamala gets forced upon us then it's 4 more years of pushing the pendulum even further right and a helluva correction in the 2030s

Then what's the point of this? One candidate flip flops on every position she's ever had and refuses to even take any kind of adversarial questions because she has the support of almost every powerful institution in the country. The other says stupid things from time to time. A country that chooses the former over the latter is doomed and deserves every bad thing that happens to it.

When the alternative is a socialist you're damn right he's the better candidate.

I used to follow the ''lesser of two evils'' mantra. I don't know about that now. It seems either way, we're getting more authoritarianism.
I will say. Trump is better than Harris. But, again. Not saying much.

You are clueless. The boomers are nearly done as the major voting block by the ‘30s. Republicans are screwed when millennials/gen z become the major voting block. Absolutely screwed, nearly unelectable on the national stage and it’s 1000% their own fault

Yes. He could lose the popular vote 50-43 and still win the electoral college and right now there’s been a few polls where he is down 2%. The press is running with this on the left to pump up enthusiasm for Harris, especially because Biden was so far down at the start of the summer. It’s going to be closer now so you have to come out and vote, but it will almost certainly be a Trump win unless something horrible happens

Yes in a fair election not so if fraud gets in the way.
Posted on 8/4/24 at 8:18 pm to CatsGoneWild
An election with no cheating, absolutely.
But we won’t have that, so probably not.

The younger millennials and Gen Z will all vote Democrat from years of brainwashing.
Throw in the pot millions of millions of illegals voting Democrat and they stay in power like a dictatorship.

I dont buy it, gen Z is already more conservative and millenials are slowly moving right as well. People are blatantly calling out progressivism ever since trannies got pushed. I think that & #metoo were the lines being crossed for the first time.
I agree with the Boomers comment though. What Republicans need is the 2nd coming of Rush Limbaugh, someone who connects to people born in the 80s and beyond. Ben shapiro aint it

Absolutely. I don’t think Kamala has a chance nor do I think she will be the nominee
